Connect your AI agent

Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any assistant at Bitcoin States of America and it can read the state rooms and the tribute pool live. No account, no key, no sign-in.

Server address

Add this as a custom connector / MCP server in your AI client:

https://bitcoinstatesofamerica.com/api/mcp

It answers anonymously and read-only — an agent can look, count, and summarize, but it cannot post, tip, report, or delete anything on your behalf.

Setup, client by client

  1. 1.Open the profile menu → Settings → Connectors.
  2. 2.Click "Add custom connector".
  3. 3.Give it a name (e.g. BSoA) and paste the server URL above.
  4. 4.Click Add — the state rooms and pool stats become available as tools.

After we ship changes to the app, refresh the connector in your client — assistants cache the tool list.

Things to ask your agent

The state layer is what makes this different: nobody else can tell you how Bitcoin sentiment differs across all 50 states right now. Try these:

State sentiment wire

“Compare what Wyoming and New York are saying about Bitcoin today, and tell me where the two disagree most.”

Ambient room reader

“Every morning, summarize the last 24 hours in the Texas room in five bullets so I do not have to lurk.”

Signal detection

“Look across all state rooms and flag any claim or link that is spreading in more than five states at once — it may be a coordinated narrative or a scam wave.”

Tribute-pool dashboard

“Pull the tribute mining pool and rank contributors by lifetime hashes, then tell me the total current hashrate.”

State of the States briefing

“Write a daily "State of the States" Bitcoin briefing: the loudest topic in each active state room, with a one-line national takeaway.”

Nostr bridge agent

“Read the most notable posts from my state room and draft Nostr notes relaying them to the open network.”

What your agent can and cannot see

Readable: public messages in topic and state rooms (name, text, rough region, timestamp) and the live mining pool leaderboard.

Never readable: end-to-end encrypted channels (an agent sees only ciphertext), peer-to-peer rooms (they touch no database at all), reports, and rate-limit records. And because every message is deleted 24 hours after posting, an agent can only ever read the present — there is no archive to mine.

Anything you post to a public room is public: assume agents are reading it, because now they are.
